Orlando Pride forward Alex Morgan spoke with the media on Monday, saying that she feels the team has come into themselves more under new interim head coach Becky Burleigh.

“It’s just really positive in the locker room right now,” she said. “We know that we have the potential to have our best finish ever in the club’s history. So we want to take every game like it’s the last game of the season and we need to get points.”

The Orlando Pride currently sit fourth in the NWSL standings with 28 points. Pride striker Sydney Leroux leads the Golden Boot race following her eighth goal of the season against Louisville on Saturday night.

They next take on the OL Reign on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. ET.
