World No. 1 tennis player Ash Barty has been knocked out of the Tokyo Olympics singles tournament following a shocking first-round loss to Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo.

The world’s 48th-ranked player upset the newly crowned Wimbledon champion in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3. It’s the biggest upset to date in Tokyo.

The Australian fell apart making a staggering 55 unforced errors to the Spaniard’s 13.

While Barty is eliminated from the singles tournament, she can still medal in the doubles tournament with partner Storm Sanders. The two won their opening match on Saturday.
