Caitlin Clark made history on Sunday, scoring a career-high 44 points in Iowa’s 93-56 win over Evansville.

The sophomore’s performance makes her the fastest player in Big Ten history to reach 1,000 career points, achieving the milestone in just 40 games.

Shooting 18-for-26, Clark’s impressive outing also included eight assists and five rebounds. The Hawkeyes guard’s career-high captured the attention of the WNBA’s Lexie Brown, who called Clark “so tough” in a Tweet published following Sunday’s blowout.

With Sunday’s win, No. 21 Iowa improves to 7-3 on the season.
