About the role: We're looking for a passionate, creative, and hard-working Senior Social Media Programmer. You should feel empowered to be a decision-maker, and lead the way across many team responsibilities. Understanding team and departmental goals will also be essential in aligning your daily, weekly, and quarterly priorities. 

A successful Senior Social Media Programmer should be able to seamlessly navigate shared responsibilities with the team, while weaving through cross-department workflows on a consistent week-to-week basis. 

What you'll do:

  • Cover news, major moments and the real-time window of games/matches across channels.
  • Curate and package trending content that comes across social media feeds.
  • Work with social, production, design, and editorial to develop copy and amplify original content.
  • Utilize templates created by Design to produce assets for social platforms that fit within our brand guidelines.
  • Working closely with other departments to shape and model what our original content experience looks like.

Who you are:

  • 1 to 3 years related professional experience in social media 
  • Proficiency in audience engagement across X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads
  • Design, video editing and Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred 
  • Excellent communication skills and strong ability to articulate ideas and concepts
  • Basic understanding of different tools and organization systems (Sprout Social, AirTable, Dash Social, etc.)
  • Flexibility in terms of schedule (weekends, evenings, holidays, etc.)
  • Ability to travel
  • Strongly aware of topics and conversations that are trending across social media
  • Women’s sports related knowledge, particularly USWNT, NWSL, WNBA, WCBB PWHL, Tennis, Golf, MMA, Softball, etc. 
  • While not required or preferred, on-camera related experience would be a bonus

The annual base salary range for this role is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD. Compensation offered may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location.
