What you'll do

Growth Strategy & Management

  • Create, oversee, and execute a strong growth strategy across all Just Women’s Sports properties with the goal of meeting and exceeding KPIs including but not limited to social media, podcasts, website, newsletter, and partnerships.
  • Define key performance metrics and growth goals for each property and each platform; track ROI for each key initiatives.

Data Tracking & Analysis

  • Create a robust and user-friendly tracking tag system for all owned digital channels.
  • Own data analysis across all channels and verticals, support staff in accessing and assessing data, and lead as the primary contact for data-driven strategy changes.

Audience Development

  • Manage audience analytics and development to support key decisions and initiatives across all departments, including strategic partnership opportunities, original content development, and audience engagement tactics. 
  • Analyze audience demographics and engagement to further define who our core audience is and where key opportunities for growth are.

Strategic Support

  • Create and manage best practices across Just Women’s Sports, including SEO and website strategy, content creation and distribution strategy, social media, paid media, and podcast .
  • Support marketing with paid media strategy and tracking.
  • Play a key role in fundraising and sales pitches by illustrating our growth story, detailing the JWS audience, and outlining future potential.

Who you are

  • 4+ years of experience in business analytics, audience development, or growth strategy, in the sports, content, or media industry
  • Expertise in and/or deep knowledge of the sports world, particularly an understanding of and interest in how the business itself works  
  • Ability to handle both top-line strategy/project development as well as be “in the weeds” on key projects, collaborating across sales, editorial, marketing, social, and operations teams 
  • Experience with website, podcast, and/or newsletter growth a huge plus 
  • Must be highly organized and self-motivated; need for strong communication and accountability is paramount for success
