EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Overview

The Executive Producer is a key leader in our content team, both overseeing and executing production initiatives. This is someone who is obsessed with growth and performance. Their job is to both make sure our content shines as content and that it helps us grow our cross-platform audience. The executive producer will work closely with JWS’ social team, in-house Producer/Editor, sales team, and marketing team to help execute on content, grow our channels, and assist with sold and sponsored content.

The bottom line: YouTube and TikTok are two of our most important platforms. The executive producer’s job is to make content that both serves our current audience while onboarding the next wave of JWS die-hards. They are a master of short-form content, who can also switch jerseys and go long when needed.

This is someone with technical chops, an attention to detail, and clear strategic thinking across all our relevant channels. They should be able to pitch an original content idea, oversee its production and editing, lead our Producer/Editor in cutting down clips, and then program these clips for the best distribution.

They should be studying what works elsewhere in the industry and applying those standards and practices to JWS’ content.
