The primary responsibility of the partnerships manager is to help create and deliver sponsorship packages across channels that drive value for our clients. This person will sit between content and sales to help build custom solutions for potential media partners.  The role requires collaboration across functions and silos to oversee the end to end delivery of sponsorships ensuring campaigns run smoothly, on time, and deliver agreed upon KPIs.  

What you'll do

  • Create compelling pre and post-sales materials 
    • Collaborate with Sales and other key stakeholders to build brand and sales decks, combining a compelling story and data into sales marketing materials, including pitch framework, recaps, sizzle videos, case studies, mockups, and category-specific sponsorship thought starters
    • Work with the Content team to develop custom programs based on briefs received from media partners and for JWS tentpole events
    • Build proposals and aid in client presentations
    • Create client-specific campaign recaps to review programs with advertisers, initiate renewals and upsell
  • Lead the day-to-day account management and develop and maintain client relationships
  • Oversee fulfillment of advertiser campaign deliverables inclusive of all assets
    • Draft and collect signatures on letters of agreement and other sponsorship contracts
    • Participate in account handoff and manage post-sale client servicing once deals are closed, liaising with client to execute campaigns
    • Confirm deal terms and track all sponsor deliverables to ensure seamless execution
    • Work with Content to ensure brands are integrated as needed 
      • Communicate in clear detail what is owed to brands to Editors
      • Provide organized assets from client to digital and audio Producers
      • Attain client approvals of all creative

  • You have knowledge and enthusiasm for women’s sports and sports and entertainment culture
  • You have a creative and structured approach to managing partnerships solution 
  • You have experience working with integrated marketing campaigns
  • Strong project management skills with an understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Experience with data-driven selling or upselling
  • Willingness to solve problems and pivot quickly in a fast paced environment
  • 5+ years experience in partnerships, sales or sponsorships
