What you'll do

The primary responsibility of the Senior Director, Integrated Strategy is to build the Integrated Strategy team at JWS. The Integrated Strategy team helps create and deliver sponsorship packages across channels that drive value for our clients. This team sits between content and sales to help build custom solutions for potential media partners. The role requires collaboration across functions and silos to oversee the end to end delivery of sponsorships ensuring campaigns run smoothly, on time, and deliver agreed upon KPIs. We are looking for a player-coach who will simultaneously build the department while also stepping in to build sponsorship packages and execute on deals until the team is fully staffed.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Build the integrated strategy team, including:
    • Hiring for Integrated Strategists and Account Managers.
    • Building the processes required to scale the team and business including but not limited to kick off call templates, project management templates, reporting templates, campaign recap templates and case studies.
    • Ensuring the integrated strategy team delivers exceptional work.
  • As a member of the Revenue leadership team, you will work with the Head of Revenue, Director of Sales, Director of Ad Ops and Director of eCommerce on JWS’ go-to-market revenue strategy.  
  • Key member of the RFP response team.  Identify strategic opportunities based on insights and champions the “big creative ideas” across the team and to the client.
  • Develops strategy briefs and lead brainstorm sessions that result in area of opportunity for a client, concept development for campaigns an innovative ways to reach target audiences
  • Collaborate with Sales and other key stakeholders to build brand and sales decks, combining a compelling story and data into sales marketing materials, including pitch framework, recaps, sizzle videos, case studies, mockups, and category-specific sponsorship thought starters
  • Lead the day-to-day account management and develop and maintain client relationships.  Oversee fulfillment of advertiser campaign deliverables inclusive of all assets.
  • Confirm deal terms and track all sponsor deliverables to ensure seamless execution

Who you are

  • 7+ years of integrated strategy experience
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Willingness to be a player-coach until the Integrated Strategy team is fully staffed
  • You have knowledge and enthusiasm for women’s sports and sports and entertainment culture
  • You have a creative and structured approach to managing partnerships solution 
  • Strong project management skills with an understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Experience with data-driven selling or upselling
  • Ability to solve problems and pivot quickly in a fast paced environment
