
Clemson softball kicks off NCAA tournament with no-hitter

There’s a new face atop the Athletes Unlimited leaderboard heading into the final slate of games in Week 3.
Pitcher Aleshia Ocasio took over the top spot after earning 290 points in a 2-0 weekend, giving her 1,034 total points this season. Cat Osterman dropped all the way into eighth place with 874 points after accumulating just 44 points over the weekend.
Rounding out the top four heading into the final day of play are Sahvanna Jaquish (1,018), Aliyah Andrews (1,002) and Amanda Chidester (932).
Osterman pitched six innings on Saturday, allowing two home runs and recording just three strikeouts. The reigning AU champion took a big hit in runs allowed, losing 60 points in the category.
Team Osterman went 0-2, leaving the team captain with just 20 WIN points. Osterman’s squad has a chance to rebound on Monday against Team McCleney, who also went 0-2 over the weekend.

Jocelyn Alo and Oklahoma will be hard to beat.
