Chelsea shut out Arsenal 2-0 in Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final, punching their ticket to Webley’s final against Manchester City.

With star Fran Kirby out due to an ongoing health issue, the rest of Chelsea’s roster stepped up, holding Arsenal to zero shots on target through the 90 minutes of play.

Chelsea’s offense got going in the second half, with Guro Reiten firing a long-range effort from the edge of the box, past the Arsenal goalkeeper to go up 1-0 in the 50th minute.

Ji So-yun doubled Chelsea’s lead in the 61st minute, pulling back a top-shelf rocket to put the game at 2-0.

“It was a whole team performance that we were proud of,” said Chelsea manager Emma Hayes. “Once we got the second goal the game felt easier. We were more confident and comfortable.”

Now out of FA Cup contention, Arsenal will shift its attention to the Women’s Super League, where the Gunners sit just one point below Chelsea in the standings.

Chelsea will face Manchester City in the FA Cup final on May 15 at Wembley Stadium.
