Game 4 of the WNBA semifinal series between the Chicago Sky and Connecticut Sun drew an average of 491,000 viewers on ESPN, making it the most-watched, non-Finals playoff game since 2015.

A peak of 549,000 viewers tuned in on Wednesday night to watch the Chicago Sky clinch their first Finals berth since 2014, with the game airing on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET.

The ratings milestone is the latest sign of positive momentum for the WNBA on television. Last month, ESPN reported that the WNBA had its most-watched regular season since 2008, with viewership up 51 percent across ESPN networks.
