Megan Rapinoe paid a special visit to a local bar before the USWNT’s game at Allianz Field in Saint Paul, Minn. on Tuesday.

The USWNT star stopped by the Black Hart of Saint Paul, an LGTBQ+ soccer bar, on Sunday to sign a mural depicting her iconic 2019 World Cup pose.

Rapinoe’s instant-classic goal celebration with her arms stretched above her head has come to symbolize more than scoring. “It’s defiance, but it’s also a sort of rallying cry of togetherness,” Rapinoe told Harper’s Bazaar in May.

The 36-year-old thanked the mural artist, Rock ‘‘CYFI’’ Martinez, and expressed her gratitude to the Minnesota bar in an Instagram post Sunday.

“I am truly honored, thank you with all my gay little heart. Spaces like these can be sacred ground for us, and this is a special one,” Rapinoe wrote.
