North Texas notched its first two postseason wins in program history Saturday, advancing to the regional final in its first NCAA tournament appearance.

The Mean Green defeated Fordham 5-3 and Nebraska 3-0, rebounding from a loss to Nebraska on Friday.

“We bounced back, which we’ve done really well all year,” North Texas coach Rodney DeLong said. “I’ve said all weekend this group is resilient.”

Skylar Savage threw a three-hit shutout with seven strikeouts to secure the 3-0 win over the Huskers.

North Texas will take on Oklahoma State in the regional championship at 4 p.m. ET Sunday.
