
NWSL players and fans are still waiting on the 2023 schedule
The NWSL season begins March 25.
The United States under-20 women’s youth national team defeated Nicaragua 6-0 in the squad’s Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship opener on Friday.
Olivia Moultrie of the Portland Thorns got the U.S. on the board early, slotting home a rebounded shot in the second minute to give her team a 1-0 lead. At 16 years old, Moultrie is the youngest player on the U-20 team.

Michelle Cooper, Simone Jackson and Aidan McConnell also scored in the win, while Andrea Kitahata notched a brace to put the game out of reach. The U.S. outshot Nicaragua 32-0 to roll to a dominant win at at Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez.
The U-20 WYNT continues their quest for World Cup qualification with a Group A matchup against Puerto Rico on Sunday.
The NWSL season begins March 25.
Press has been rehabbing an ACL injury since June.
She could return for the team's April camp.
