Sunday’s game between the Orlando Pride and the Houston Dash on CBS saw the largest regular-season audience for an NWSL game at 442,000 viewers on average.

In comparison, the 2021 Challenge Cup final drew 534,000 viewers.

It’s also a marked improvement from the viewership numbers from roughly two and a half months ago. June 19 and 20 saw 376,000 and 299,000 viewers tune in on average, respectively.

The viewership numbers continue a trend in women’s sports set by the WNBA in August, when the Storm and Sky saw the highest-viewed regular season WNBA game since 2012.
