Paige Greco is a Paralympic champion.

The Australian cyclist took home the first gold medal of the 2020 Paralympic Games in the women’s C1-3 3000m individual pursuit Wednesday with a time of 3:50.815.

It’s Greco’s first Paralympics and first medal. The 24-year-old took up cycling just over three years ago after competing as a track and field athlete for seven years.

China’s Xioamei Wang placed second to win silver, while Germany’s Denise Schindler claimed the bronze.
