UConn’s offense was clicking on Saturday as the Huskies cruised to a 75-58 win over No. 3 seed Indiana.
Four UConn starters finished in the double-figures led by Paige Bueckers and Christyn Williams, who each had 15 points. Bueckers briefly exited the game in the second quarter after drawing contact, falling to the floor while clutching her knee. The star sophomore returned to the game after the brief scare and looked true to form, anchoring UConn’s offense.
Azzi Fudd added 13 points to the Huskies’ tally, while Olivia Nelson-Ododa contributed 10 points and 14 rebounds for the first double-double of her NCAA tournament career.
UConn’s bench was hot as well, scoring 13 points compared to just one point from Indiana’s bench.

The Huskies also beat the Hoosiers on the glass, outrebounding Indiana on offense 15-2. Forcing 15 Indiana turnovers, UConn was able to dominate on both sides of the ball for a comprehensive win.
“We’re playing every game like our last because it’s win or go home,” Bueckers told ESPN’s Holly Rowe after the game.
UConn’s victory advances the team to its 16th straight Elite Eight appearance, where the Huskies will take on No. 1 seed NC State.
