Eugénie Le Sommer is the latest Olympique Lyonnais player to sign with OL Reign.
The French National Team striker will join Lyon teammates Dzsenifer Marozsán and Sarah Bouhaddi in the move to OL Reign after the June FIFA window.
All players will be on loan in Tacoma until the end of 2021.
As Lyon’s all-time leading goal-scorer, Le Sommer is expected to inject a renewed energy into the Reign’s offense.

Le Sommer, Bouhaddi and Marozsán may not be the only big names shaking up OL Reign this summer.
Per reporting done by The Equalizer, Rose Lavelle is also expected to join the Reign this season after a stint with Manchester City. The team acquired her rights in a trade last year with the Washington Spirit.
OL Reign aren't done adding major pieces: multiple sources tell @EqualizerSoccer (me & @TheDanLauletta) that Rose Lavelle will join the Reign this summer after a season with Manchester City. The Reign acquired Lavelle's NWSL rights in a trade with the Washington Spirit last year.

With the club’s new elite acquisitions, Reign fans can get excited about the prospect of Le Sommer, Bouhaddi, Marozsán, Megan Rapinoe, Lavelle, Sofia Huerta and Tziarra King all sharing the pitch.
Whether or not the overload of talent will be enough to overtake the Portland Thorns, winners of this year’s Challenge Cup, remains to be seen. Either way, more star players in America is never a bad thing for NWSL fans, especially after last year’s exodus of USWNT talent to England.
