Bio: Mautz grew up in O’Fallon, Missouri and played soccer at Zumwalt West High School. She was named All-State, All-Metro and All-Conference all four years of high school. In 2006 and 2007, Mautz was named Metro Player of the Year. During her senior year, she was named State Player of the Year. Throughout her high school career, Mautz scored 133 goals – the fifth most in Missouri girls’ soccer history.
Mautz attended Saint Louis University for the 2007 season before transferring to Texas A&M University where she proved to be a valuable addition. In her senior season, Mautz was named NSCAA National Player of the Week and Big 12 Player of the Week. She was also selected to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week, the All-Big 12 first team and the Big 12 All-Tournament team.
In 2010, Mautz joined Sky Blue FC of the Women’s Professional Soccer league where she played in five matches and scored once. After the WPS suspended operations in 2012, Mautz signed with the Chicago Red Stars where she has played ever since. In addition to playing in the NWSL, Mautz has also played overseas for Zorky in Russia and for Perth Glory and Adelaide United in Australia.
