Bio: Born in Los Angeles, California, Press played soccer at Chadwick High School where she was a four-year starter. Press led the team to two Southern Section Division IV titles. During her collegiate career, Press played for the Stanford Cardinal. She remains the all-time leading scorer for the Cardinal women’s soccer team with 71 goals. In 2010, Press was awarded the Hermann Trophy for being the nation’s top college soccer player.

Press was drafted fourth overall by the Washington Freedom in the 2011 WPS Draft. The team was rebranded as magicJack in Florida. When the WPS folded in 2012, Press played for Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC and Tyresö FF in Sweden. In 2014, Press signed with the Chicago Red Stars of the NWSL and, in 2018, she was traded to the Utah Royals. Press has played on the USWNT since 2013. She was a part of both the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup Championship teams.
