Bio: Born in Melbourne, Florida, Stengel played soccer at Wake Forest University where she was a four-time All-ACC honoree and a three-time All-American. She set the school record for highest scoring player with 50 goals in 75 games. In 2014, Stengel skipped the NWSL College Draft and joined the Los Angeles Blues of the USL W-League (which has since disbanded). Stengel signed with the Washington Spirit in 2016 and later played for the Boston Breakers and Utah Royals. In 2020, she signed with the Houston Dash where she currently plays.
Throughout her career in the NWSL, Stengel has played on loan for Bayern Munich, Western Sydney Wanderers, Newcastle Jets and Canberra United. She has represented the United States at the under-18, under-20 and under-23 levels. Stengel received her first call up to the USWNT in 2014, but has yet to earn a cap for the team.
