North Carolina Courage



Bio: Born in Fresno, California, Williams played soccer at Bullard High School and set the school record in scoring with 117 career goals. She attended Pepperdine University from 2011 to 2014. During her freshman year, she was named West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year. In her senior season, Williams led the team to its third Sweet 16 appearance in program history and was named a finalist for the Hermann Trophy.

Williams was drafted sixth overall by the Western New York Flash in the 2015 NWSL College Draft. During the 2016 season, she led the Flash to their first NWSL Championship win and was awarded the NWSL Most Valuable Player Award. Williams moved with the team when it was announced in 2017 that the Flash was relocating to North Carolina and being rebranded as the North Carolina Courage. In 2018, she helped the team win the 2018 NWSL Championship and its second straight NWSL Shield. During the 2019 season, Williams played on loan for the Western Sydney Wanderers.

Williams was first called up to the USWNT in 2016. She played with the team as they won the SheBelieves Cup in 2018 and 2020.
