
WNBA posts its highest viewership on ESPN in 16 years

The Seattle Storm announced Thursday that they have inked a deal with Amazon Prime Video, which is now the official streaming service of the Storm.
Prime Video becomes one of the first streamers to hold local broadcast rights with a WNBA team. Roughly 30 Storm games will be available to Prime Video subscribers in Washington state.
In addition to the Storm coverage, Prime Video holds the rights to 17 in-season games, including the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Championship Game on July 26.
Dick Fain and Elise Woodward will be on the call for the broadcasts.
The Storm’s season is slated to begin on May 6 against the Minnesota Lynx, the WNBA opener of Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.
