The Seattle Storm are officially your 2020 WNBA Champions.

After starting the season as the overwhelming favorites to win it all, the Storm lived up to the hype, steamrolling the Las Vegas Aces 92-59 to complete the three-game sweep on Tuesday. The Storm were 6-0 in the playoffs, and outside of a two-point win in their first game against the Minnesota Lynx in the semis, they won every game by double digits.

Relive the top moments from the Finals below.

GAME 1: SEATTLE’S BIG 3 GOES OFF

Breanna Stewart becomes the first player to drop 35 and 15 in a Finals game, and Sue Bird dishes a playoff-record 16 assists.

GAME 2: MORE BROKEN RECORDS

League MVP A’ja Wilson scores 20 points, but it’s not enough as Breanna Stewart, Alysha Clark, and Natasha Howard combine for 64 in the win.

GAME 3: COMPLETING THE SWEEP

The Seattle Storm sweep the Las Vegas Aces behind a huge performance from Finals MVP Breanna Stewart.

Stewart sets a WNBA record with 6 straight Finals games with over 20 points. The Storm win their fourth title — and legend Sue Bird has been there for every single one.

Stewart is just the 5th player to ever win multiple Finals MVPs.

AND THE CELEBRATION IS ON

The Las Vegas Aces are set to face the Seattle Storm in the WNBA Finals as they look to win their first championship in franchise history. While they were the No. 1 seed heading into the playoffs, the Aces had to fight until the very last play of their semifinal series with the No. 7 Connecticut Sun.

Here are the performances that defined the series:

GAME 1: JASMINE THOMAS GOES OFF FOR A CAREER-HIGH 31 POINTS IN ONLY 3 QUARTERS AS THE SUN GO UP 1-0

GAME 2: A’JA WILSON SHOWS WHY SHE’S THE MVP, DROPPING 29 AS THE ACES TIE THE SERIES 1-1

GAME 3: ALYSSA THOMAS DROPS A DOUBLE-DOUBLE TO PUT CONNECTICUT UP 2-1, SCORING 9 POINTS IN THE FINAL 3 MINUTES TO SEAL THE WIN.

GAME 4: ANGEL MCCOUGHTRY STUFFS THE STAT SHEET AND DANIELLE ROBINSON DROPS A PLAYOFF CAREER HIGH 16 POINTS AS THE ACES FORCE A GAME 5

GAME 5: ANGEL MCCOUGHTRY AND A’JA WILSON COMBINE FOR 43 POINTS TO LEAD THE ACES IN A GAME 5 NAIL-BITER

BUT IT’S A DEFENSIVE STAND THAT SEALS THE WIN AND SENDS LAS VEGAS TO THE WNBA FINALS.

GAME 1 BETWEEN THE STORM AND THE ACES IS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2ND AT 7:00PM ET ON ESPN2

The Seattle Storm are headed back to the WNBA Finals for the second time in three years. The overwhelming favorites heading into the season, the Storm swept the Minnesota Lynx 3-0 in the semis, with Breanna Stewart’s career-playoff-high 31 points in the closing game helping to seal the deal.

Here are the moments that defined the series:

GAME 1: JEWELL LOYD AND BREANNA STEWART CARRY THE STORM, COMBINING FOR 46 PTS
BUT IT’S AYESHA CLARK’S BUZZER-BEATING PUTBACK THAT CLINCHES THE GAME

LET’S SEE THAT ONE AGAIN

IT MAY HAVE COME IN A LOSS, BUT NAPHEESA COLLIER’S BACK-TO-BACK-TO-BACK BLOCKS OF STEWIE REMINDED EVERYONE SHE’S A STAR ON BOTH ENDS OF THE COURT

GAME 2: PRIOR TO TIPOFF, COLLIER READS A STATEMENT IN SUPPORT OF BREONNA TAYLOR’S FAMILY AFTER A KENTUCKY GRAND JURY FAILS TO CHARGE THE POLICE FOR KILLING HER

ON THE COURT, THE GOLD MAMBA STAYS HOT AS THE STORM CRUISE TO A 2-0 SERIES LEAD

ALL THE WHILE FLEXING THEIR LEAGUE-BEST DEPTH

GAME 3: BREANNA STEWART GOES FOR A PLAYOFF CAREER-HIGH OF 31 PTS AS THE STORM COMPLETE THE SWEEP

THE AGELESS-WONDER SUE BIRD ADDS 16 AND 9 OF HER OWN IN THE WIN

ALL WHILE IMPRESSING A FORMER COLLEGE TEAMMATE

THE STORM ARE NOW HEADED TO THE 2020 WNBA FINALS. GAME 1 IS FRIDAY

The WNBA playoffs are no joke—blink, and your team could be out. That’s how quickly the tables can turn when it’s single-elimination, win-or-go-home.

With the first two rounds now over, only four teams remain. Starting Sunday, the Minnesota Lynx will do battle with the Seattle Storm as the Connecticut Sun take on the Las Vegas Aces in their respective best-of-5 semifinals series.

But before we get into the grind of the semifinal series, it’s only right to pay homage to a chaotic and eventful week of single-elimination play.

IN ROUND 1, DIANA TAURASI AND SKYLAR DIGGINS-SMITH CONTINUED THEIR RUN AS THE HOTTEST BACK COURT IN THE LEAGUE
BUT IT WAS SHEA PEDDY’S BUZZER-BEATING 3 THAT ULTIMATELY SENT THE MERCURY PAST THE MYSTICS (WHO CUT PEDDY EARLIER IN THE YEAR… OUCH)
ALYSSA THOMAS WENT OFF FOR 26, 13 AND 8 AS THE SUN ELIMINATED THE CHICAGO SKY
ON THURSDAY, END OF YEAR AWARDS WERE DISHED OUT. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR 2020 MVP: A’JA WILSON

AND LYNX COACH CHERYL REEVE WON HER 3RD COACH OF THE YEAR AWARD
THE LYNX THEN KNOCKED THE MERCURY OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS BEHIND DANGERFIELD (17 PTS) AND DAMIRIS DANTAS (22 PTS)
AND YOUR ROOKIE OF THE YEAR WAS RIGHTFULLY STOKED.
THE SUN, MEANWHILE, STUNNED THE SPARKS WITH AN END-TO-END THUMPING OF THE NO. 3 SEED. NOT BAD FOR A TEAM THAT STARTED THE YEAR 0-5.
DIMES LIKE THIS CERTAINLY HELPED.
AND THOUGH IT CAME IN A LOSING EFFORT, THIS MOVE FROM RIQUNA WILLIAMS WAS PURE DISRESPECT IN ALL ITS BEAUTIFUL GLORY.
THE SEMIFINALS BEGIN THIS SUNDAY WITH CONNECTICUT VS LAS VEGAS AT 1PM EST ON ESPN, FOLLOWED BY SEATTLE VS MINNESOTA AT 3:OOPM EST ON ABC. TUNE IN.

The WNBA playoffs begin tonight, with No. 6 Chicago vs No. 7 Connecticut (7:00pm EST on ESPN2) and No. 5 Phoenix vs No. 8 Washington (9:00pm EST). Both games are single-elimination, with the winners playing No. 3 Los Angeles and No. 4 Minnesota on Friday.

To celebrate the beginning of what promises to be a hectic WNBA postseason, we’re running through the top plays from the last stretch of regular season play.
