
Naomi Osaka ‘at peace’ after loss to Coco Gauff
Gauff defeated Osaka 6-4, 6-4.
Coco Gauff beat Wang Qiang in straight sets Saturday to win the Emilia-Romagna Open. The victory gave the 17-year-old American her second career WTA title.

Gauff put on a dominant performance to defeat Qiang 6-1, 6-3, winning 76.5 percent of her first service points. The Parma championship caps a spectacular clay season for Gauff. She is currently 12-3 on the surface and most recently made a semifinal run in Rome.
After the win Saturday, Gauff said she hopes to keep her momentum going into the French Open.
Roland-Garros, the clay-court Grand Slam, begins next week in Paris.

Osaka next plays Coco Gauff.
Barty retired from tennis in March at the age of 25.
Gauff debuted the shoe in Atlanta on Sunday.
