Gotham FC doubled their lead in the 60th minute when Midge Purce knocked in a lofted ball from Nahomi Kawasumi. Purce’s clinical finish put her side up 2-0.

Gotham’s dominance continued well into the second half, with Domi Richardson scoring the team’s third goal in the 85th minute. Richardson’s second-career finish came off a blistering Gotham transition, beating the Reign defense to slot the ball past Bouhaddi.
