Nelly Korda is the first two-time winner on the LPGA Tour this season after a victory in the Meijer LPGA Classic.

The fourth-ranked golfer in the world, Korda finished at 25-under 263, breaking the tournament record at Blythefield Country Club. Her third-round 62 on Saturday was a career-best and gave her a 3-stroke lead heading into the final round.

Sunday saw her close with a 5-under 67 for a 2-stroke victory. An eagle on the 14th helped to secure the win.

It was a rebound performance for Korda after she missed the cut two weeks ago in the U.S. Women’s Open.

Through 10 starts in 2021, Korda has finished in the top 10 seven times, including her LPGA-leading two wins. She won the Gainbridge LPGA event in Florida back in February.

The tour will now move on to Atlanta, where the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is set to take place at the Atlanta Athletic Club.
