Welcome to H-Town, @AbbyDahlkemper!#HoldItDown
The USWNT defender left her FAWSL club Manchester City earlier this month, where she had been playing since signing with the team in January 2021.
Dahlkemper played with North Carolina for five seasons prior to her move to Manchester City, winning three NWSL Shields and two NWSL Championships with the Courage.
“I’m very excited that we have been able to add a player of Abby’s quality to our roster as we embark on our push for the playoffs,” said Dash head coach James Clarkson in a statement released through the team.
Dahlkemper will be available for selection during Houston’s Sunday matchup against Racing Louisville FC.
Vlatko Andonovski also provided updates on Christen Press and others.
"My first reaction was to cry,” Erceg said about the trade.
The defender missed the 2022 NWSL playoffs.
The midfielder has not played since the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
