Alyse LaHue out as Gotham FC general manager

Gotham FC announced Friday that general manager Alyse LaHue is no longer employed by the team.

The team followed the announcement with a short statement.

“On July 9th, ownership informed Ms. LaHue that she is no longer employed by NJ/NY Gotham FC based on the results of a league investigation into a complaint of violation of League policy,” the statement read. “During her three years with the Club, Gotham FC has made significant strides on and off the field and built the foundation for continued success.”

LaHue has been largely credited for Gotham’s turnaround from one of the worst clubs in the NWSL, both on the field and off, during their Sky Blue days to making the 2021 Challenge Cup Final.

Vice Chair Ed Nalbandian will oversee day-to-day operations while club ownership begins the search for her replacement.
