Amber Glenn is stepping off the ice and onto the dancefloor. The 2026 Olympic gold medalist joined the Dancing with the Stars season 35 cast, which kicked off its two-night premiere on September 15th. Her pro partner this season is veteran competitor Pasha Pashkov.
Amber Glenn Continues Figure Skating's 'DWTS' Tradition
Glenn isn't the first figure skater to compete on DWTS. Kristi Yamaguchi, Meryl Davis, and Adam Rippon all took home the Mirror Ball trophy in previous seasons. But the three-time US champion is issuing herself a bigger challenge.
She plans to keep training on the ice throughout filming and return to competitive skating during the second half of the season.
"When I heard that they wanted me, it was obviously a yes," Glenn said.
She also pointed to the overlap between the two disciplines. "When I dance, I feel more in tune with my body and I'm able to incorporate that into my skating. I'm hoping it can help not just my own skating, but one day as a coach and choreographer I can expand what I know and how I move."
