Late night hoops delivered on Saturday, with Team Hawkins defeating Team Cloud 113-110 in overtime on a last-second, half-court shot by Sydney Colson.
With 2.2 seconds remaining, recent Las Vegas Aces signee Kalani Brown managed to get the inbounds pass from Kelsey Mitchell to Colson, who heaved it from half-court with a second remaining.

“We really didn’t have a great plan. We were honestly just going to get it in and try to get a shot up. But we knew they were going to try to stop us from going that way (towards the net),” Colson said. “It was good awareness by Lani, honestly, to give it to me and then I just heaved it.”
Colson finished the game matching her season-high with 20 points and added six assists.
Mitchell led Team Hawkins with 33 points, including hitting a game-tying three-pointer with 4.8 seconds remaining to set up the game-winning shot. Three other players on Team Hawkins scored in double-digits: Destinee Walker (17), Tianna Hawkins (16) and Brown (17). With 14 rebounds, Hawkins recorded her fourth consecutive double-double and seventh of the season.
The team was also a perfect 27-for-27 from the free throw line, matching the league’s season high.
DiJonai Carrington led all scorers with a season-high 41 points and 14 rebounds and added six steals. She now leads the league with 31 steals on the season. Natasha Cloud recorded her own season-high 33 points, making six 3-pointers in the game.
Imani McGee-Stafford finished the game with eight points and eight rebounds, including the final four points of the quarter for Team Cloud to send the game into overtime.
Team Cloud is back in action against Team Sims at 7 p.m. ET on FS2 while Team Hawkins will match up against Team Harrison at 9:30 p.m. ET.
