The Dream ended their four-game losing streak on Sunday with a 101-78 win over the Washington Mystics.
Atlanta put up a commanding offensive performance with five players hitting double digits. Courtney Williams led scoring for the Dream with 21 points, shooting 61.5 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from deep. Odyssey Sims wasn’t far behind Williams, contributing 20 points of her own. Tiffany Hayes added 18 points and six assists to overwhelm Washington’s defense.

Myisha Hines-Allen and Ariel Atkins recorded 16 and 15 points, respectively, for the Mystics. Atlanta was able to quiet Tina Charles, who scored 13 points in Sunday’s game, well below her 24 points per game average for the season. Washington struggled on the whole offensively, shooting 37.7 percent from the field.
The Mystics will get a shot at redemption when the two teams face off again on Thursday.
