The Connecticut Sun are playoff bound.
In a premier matchup between the top two teams in the league Tuesday night, the Sun dominated the Las Vegas Aces, 76-62, to complete a three-game regular-season sweep of their cross-country foe.
Briann January led the way for the Sun with 19 points, two rebounds and three assists on 70 percent shooting from the field.

DeWanna Bonner contributed 18 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and three steals in the win, passing Teresa Weatherspoon on the WNBA all-time steals list with 466. Brionna Jones added 15 points, eight rebounds and four steals of her own.
The Sun have held the Aces to under 70 points in each of their three meetings. On average, Las Vegas puts up 89.3 points per game, the most in the league.
Following the win, Sun players wore “Jonquel Jones for MVP” shirts to their postgame media availability. Jones, who had eight points and 10 rebounds in the win, is averaging 19.9 points, 11.1 rebounds and three assists this season.
With the win, the Sun are now in sole possession of first place in the standings. They next play the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET.
