BYU went down early in the PK shootout after regulation and two periods of extra time ended in a 0-0 draw. After BYU’s first two shooters missing their kicks from the spot, the team turned things around to defeat the Broncos 3-2 on penalty kicks and bounce the defending champions from the College Cup.
BYU will face No. 1 Florida State in the NCAA championship game on Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
