Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever delivered another viewership milestone on Saturday. The team's 108-88 home win over the New York Liberty averaged 2.579 million viewers on CBS. The broadcast peaked at 3.089 million, making it the second-most watched WNBA game on any network since 2000, according to Nielsen data.
Those numbers aren't a one-off, either. An earlier Fever vs Liberty matchup in June drew 2.557 million on CBS. That game ranked as the 2026 WNBA season's most watched at the time.

Beyond the rivalry, the broader trend is just as telling. All 44 of Indiana's regular-season games were picked up by national networks this year — a first in WNBA history. No other team in the league has generated that kind of demand from broadcasters.
On the court, Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with 33 points on 10-of-14 shooting while Clark added 17 points and seven assists. Aliyah Boston contributed 15 points and seven rebounds as the Fever overcame an early double-digit deficit to pull away in the second half.
The Fever's WNBA ratings run now stretches into a third straight season, dating back to Clark's arrival as the No. 1 draft pick in 2024.
