Caitlin Clark is staying busy this offseason, on and off the court.
While she’s had her fair share of fun summer moments, from golfing at the John Deere Classic Pro-Am alongside fellow Iowa native Zach Johnson to attending a Taylor Swift concert, she also has stayed busy in the gym.
She provided a look at her standard summer workout, which includes 100 3-point shot attempts and 300 shot attempts total.

And in order to stay at the top of her game, she’s had to turn some events down, including the ESPYs. She won Best Collegiate Athlete but wasn’t there to accept the award.
“I can’t tell you how many things Caitlin has turned down,” Iowa head coach Lisa Bluder said. “She was invited to the ESPYs over and over again, and she just didn’t want to miss practices. And that tells you a lot about the kind of young woman she is and the teammate that she is. She was invited to go to Scotland to go to their Pro-Am (at the Scottish Open). She has been invited to so many things that she has had to say no to.
“That’s probably been her biggest lesson, is understanding what’s important to do and what’s not important to do. And learning how to say no. Because that’s hard for young people to say no. But can it help me reach my goal? If the answer is no, you shouldn’t do it.”
