Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark has officially released her first signature Nike shoe, the Caitlin 1, to the public. Today's retail drop is more than two years in the making, dating to when she re-signed with the brand ahead of her rookie WNBA season.
The shoe dropped in two colorways, Caitlin Blue and Warning Code Yellow. The design packs personal touches, from Clark's interlocking "CC" logo on the tongue to a No. 22 lace loop. The phrases "Shoot More Threes" and "It was never a long shot" are printed across the outsole.
Clark called the launch a career milestone after debuting the shoe in a June clash against Atlanta.
"I never thought I would get to have my own signature shoe, and now that I do, it's pretty special," Clark said in a Nike video.

If her past releases are any sign, demand will run hot, as all four of her player-exclusive Kobes sold out within minutes and now resell for well above retail on StockX.
Today's initial drop is priced at $140 for adults, $115 for big kids, and $105 for little kids. They're subsequently available on Nike's SNKRS app and via select retailers.
Nike has already announced several more colorways for later this year. Additionally, a full apparel collection and a three-day pop-up shop in Iowa City are expected.
