Chicago Sky hold parade, rally to celebrate championship

The city of Chicago once again showed up for the Chicago Sky on Tuesday as the team held a parade and rally to celebrate their historic WNBA Championship.

The parade began at 11 a.m. and led into a rally that was held at Millenium Park.

Stefanie Dolson showed up with the trophy and her Olympic gold medal won in 3×3 basketball.

Meanwhile, the door that Diana Taurasi allegedly broke was honored as a “special guest” at the rally.

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker was in attendance to introduce the team and declare Chicago “Skytown” for the day.

Candace Parker, James Wade and Kahleah Copper all spoke about the journey to the championship.

Chance the Rapper was also in attendance as the entire team and its fans celebrated the win.
