Chicago Sky set franchise record with seven straight wins

Just like that, the Chicago Sky have won seven straight games.

Since Candace Parker returned from injury, the Sky have done a complete turnaround, going from 2-7 to 9-7 and setting a franchise record for consecutive wins.

The Sky’s win over the Liberty on Thursday night was an all-around team effort, with five players scoring in double digits.

The Sky took firm control in the second quarter thanks to some selfless ball-handling and defensive stops.

Kahleah Copper and Diamond DeShields continued to produce on offense, each contributing 18 points in the win. Copper added seven assists and three rebounds while DeShields had two apiece.

Parker recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds to go along with four assists, including this no-look pass to Copper.

Chicago will travel to Connecticut to take on the Sun on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET. The Sky have already beaten the Sun twice this season.
