It’s the year of the teen in the WTA.
Danish 18-year-old Clara Tauson upset reigning champion Jelena Ostapenko 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 on Sunday to claim her second WTA title at the Luxembourg Open.

The win is one of two this year for the world No. 70. Her maiden win came in Lyon in march.
Additionally, Tauson won the Chicago WTA 125 in August, defeating fellow teenager and eventual-US Open champion Emma Raducanu.
She’s one of just four teenagers ranked in the Top 100 alongside Raducanu, US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez and Marta Kostyuk. With the win, she is now a bit closer to joining Raducanu and Fernandez in the Top 50.
