Coco Gauff beat Wang Qiang in straight sets Saturday to win the Emilia-Romagna Open. The victory gave the 17-year-old American her second career WTA title.

Gauff put on a dominant performance to defeat Qiang 6-1, 6-3, winning 76.5 percent of her first service points. The Parma championship caps a spectacular clay season for Gauff. She is currently 12-3 on the surface and most recently made a semifinal run in Rome.

After the win Saturday, Gauff said she hopes to keep her momentum going into the French Open.

Roland-Garros, the clay-court Grand Slam, begins next week in Paris.
