As the inaugural Commissioner’s Cup gets underway Thursday night, the Connecticut Sun will be the slight favorites.
VegasInsider lists the Sun as the 1.5 point favorite, with the over/under point total sitting at 154.5 points.
The first time these two teams met up, on May 25, the game went into overtime. The Storm prevailed in that one, ending the Sun’s win streak by a final score of 90-87.
Then, in June, Seattle handed the Sun their first home loss of the season with a final score of 89-66. Breanna Stewart led Seattle in that game with 22 points. It’s unclear what her role in Thursday’s game will be after playing a tournament-high 192 minutes at the Olympics.
