The baby girl arrived at 4:24 a.m. on Saturday, hours after Taurasi led her team to a thrilling WNBA Finals-clinching Game 5 victory over the Aces.
Taurasi concluded her postgame interview Friday night with a special message for Taylor, saying, “Hold it in babe, I’m coming,” in reference to the couple’s forthcoming baby girl.
“Goat #2,” as Mercury lovingly referred to the newborn, makes a family of four after Taurasi and Taylor welcomed their firstborn, Leo, on March 1, 2018.
Taurasi will have a busy weekend as Phoenix prepares to take on the Chicago Sky in Game 1 of the WNBA Finals on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
