There are a lot of questions surrounding this year’s All-Star Game, including which first-time star will make the biggest statement in the game.
This year’s WNBA All-Star Game will feature eight first-time All-Stars. Seven — Kahleah Copper, Dearica Hamby, Brionna Jones, Betnijah Laney, Arike Ogunbowale, Satou Sabally and Courtney Williams — are featured on Team WNBA. One — Ariel Atkins — will play for Team USA.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Sue Bird will be playing in her WNBA-record 12th All-Star Game.
As far as first-timers on Team USA, six will be making their Olympic debut for the USA Women’s National team in Tokyo: Atkins, Napheesa Collier, Chelsea Gray, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Jewell Loyd and A’ja Wilson.
Tune in to the All-Star Game Wednesday night at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
