Hayley Raso is on her way to Manchester City.

The club announced Wednesday that the Australian has signed a two-year deal. Raso joins Manchester City after 18 months with Everton.

Everton finished fifth in the Women’s Super League and were beaten in the FA Cup final by City.

“I think it is such a big club and somewhere I wanted to be. I spoke with the coach and he spoke extremely highly of the facilities, the staff, the players and the club in general,” Raso told ESPN.

“I want to be competing for trophies and playing in the Champions League so it was a pretty easy decision for me to want to come here.”

Raso spent some time in the NWSL with both the Washington Spirit and Portland Thorns before making her way to England.

The striker has also played with the Matildas since 2012 and has over 50 international caps.
