Iga Swiatek continued her unprecedented run as World No. 1, defeating No. 7 Ons Jabeur 6-2, 6-2 to defend her Internazionali BNL d’Italia title.

The victory marks her fifth straight title and extends her win streak to 28 matches. Swiatek is only the second player ever to win four or more WTA 1000 titles in a season, joining Serena Williams, who had five in 2013.

Winning every WTA 1000 event she’s competed in this season, Swiatek now has trophies from Doha, Indian Wells, Miami and Rome.

Jabeur had her own 11-game winning streak heading into the contest, which Swiatek snapped with the victory. Swiatek earned points when it mattered Sunday, saving six of her seven break points to keep Jabeur at bay.

Swiatek now owns an impressive 8-1 record in WTA finals. Next up for the 20-year-old is the French Open beginning May 22.
