Jade Carey captured her first medal of the Tokyo Games on Monday, taking home gold in the individual floor exercise final.

The American gymnast, who faltered on the vault only days earlier, bounced back with an impressive floor routine.

Carey, known for her executing challenging tumbling passes, posted a score of 14.366, putting her at the top of the podium, ahead of Italy’s Vanessa Ferrari and Japan’s Mai Murakami.

Team USA has now won the individual floor event in three-straight Olympic Games, with Aly Raisman taking home gold in 2012 and Simone Biles claiming victory in 2016.

The artistic gymnastics competition will conclude on Tuesday with Simone Biles and Sunisa Lee representing Team USA in the balance beam individual final.
