JuJu Watkins didn't just coach Saniyah Hall at the Overtime Select Takeover event, she also recruited her to USC.
The Trojans star used the weekend — which served as a showcase for the nation's top high school prospects — to pitch her USC women's basketball to the No. 2 player in the 2026 recruiting class.
"I was in her ear about committing a little bit, hoping that she would come to SC," Watkins told CBS Sports this week.
Hall committed shortly after, and has since signed with the college basketball powerhouse.
Hall, Watkins Usher in New Era for USC Women's Basketball
The 6'1 guard from Ohio arrives with international experience already in the books.
Hall earned MVP honors at the 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup, where she averaged 19.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.9 steals per game while helping Team USA win gold. Now Watkins is eager to share the NCAA court with the rising star.
"I think she is so versatile and she is strong," Watkins said of Hall. "She can draw so much attention with the ball, whether it be in the post or on the perimeter. Just a very all-around player."
With Hall joining a healthy Watkins and top 2025 recruit Jazzy Davidson, coach Lindsay Gottlieb has assembled one of the deepest rosters in women's college basketball.
