The win advances Pliskova to her second-career Grand Slam final. The 29-year-old previously appeared in the 2016 US Open championship, losing the major title to Angelique Kerber.
Pliskova will now face off against No.1 Ash Barty in a battle of first-time Wimbledon finalists. The Grand Slam final will air on Saturday on ESPN at 9 a.m. ET.
