The Aces put on a textbook team performance Friday night to blow past the Sparks, 97-69.

Every available Las Vegas player got on the scoreboard against the Sparks, shooting 53.2 percent from the field.

Chelsea Gray led the Aces with 18 points, five rebounds and six assists. Jackie Young, A’ja Wilson and Dearica Hamby all put up 17 points each, combining for 51 points. Liz Cambage also finished the game in double digits, recording 11 points and ten rebounds.

On the other end of the court, the Sparks were consistently out-rebounded and had difficulty getting their offense going against the Aces, shooting just 36.5 percent from the field.

Next, the Aces (2-1) will look to snap the Sun’s 4-0 streak when they host Connecticut on Sunday. Los Angeles (0-2) will travel to Chicago next Friday to face former teammate Candace Parker and the Sky.
